T-Cell Rich B-Cell Lymphoma

Description In this disorder, the transformed cells are B lymphocytes, but they are surrounded reactive T lymphocytes (distinguished by positive CD 3, 45RO, and 43).  Constitutional symptoms are common, and the disease often presents in an advanced state.
Frequency This category accounts for only 1% of NHL.  It is primarily a disease of older males.
