This form can be used to
generate orders for infusion of IV iron in a patient with no counter indications.
The parameters for vital signs are based on populational data. Heart
rate and blood pressure parameters reflect the 5th and 95th percentile
for age and weight. Parameters may need to be adjusted or additional
parameters added for individual patients. Dose and rate calculations
are intended as guidelines only. Emergency drugs should be available
for possible anaphylaxis. |
