10:00 a.m.

S: Pt. resting comfortably; good pain relief with PCA. She is ambulating well and tolerating clear liquids. She denies N/V/F/C. No dysuria. She is bottle feeding. (+) flatus. No BM. Minimal lochia rubra.

PE:
VSS: BP 110/65, P 74, Tmax 381, Tmin362, R 8
I/O: 1400 mL/1800 mL

Gen: Alert and responsive with NAD
CVS: RRR, nl S1 & S2, without mm.
Chest: CTA bilaterally
Breasts: soft, NT, no lesions
Abdomen: soft, NTND, (+) BS, no rebound/guarding
Fundus: firm, @ umbilicus [,incision: C/D/I without erythema]
Extremities: No edema, NT
Labs:
 
 
Impression:

  1. Pt. doing well POD #1
  2. Slight temp., probably 2o atelectasis
  3. Anemia consistent with EBL/postop course
Plan:
  1. Continue ICF/PCA
  2. Encourage ambulation, incentive spirometry
  3. D/C Foley
  4. FeSO4 325 mg po qd, will check 8 hr CBC @ 6 pm.
  5. Advance to full liquids
  6. Continue to monitor closely/postop care
