Neonatal Hepatitis B

Negative

• 2.5 mcg of Recombivax or 10 mcg of Energix-B prior to discharge from nursery or at one month.
• refer to general immunization schedule for subsequent doses.

• Should receive 0.5 mL Hepatitis B immunoglobulin within 12 hours of birth
• Should receive 5 mcg of Recombivax or 10 mcg of Energix B at a separate site.
• refer to general immunization schedule for subsequent doses.

• Should receive 5 mcg of Recombivax or 10 mcg of Energix B
• Determine mother's HepBsAg status, if positive, give 0.5 mL Hepatitis B immunoglobulin within one week.
• refer to general immunization schedule for subsequent doses.
