RSV Immunoprophylaxis

 
During RSV season, RSV immunoprophylaxis is recommended in the following cases
28 wks < GA < 35 wks without BPD,< 6 months of age Synagis or Respigam
Mild BPD (no oxygen or bronchodilators), < 2 years of age Synagis or Respigam
Moderate to Severe BPD, < 2 years of age Respigam
Tracheostomy patients with pulmonary disease, < 2 years of age Respigam
 
Synagis does not interfere with response to other vaccines.
RSV prophylaxis should be administered every 30 days during RSV season
